  1. Solid stock folk pictured here. Thanks Stephen.

Obviously the same stock as Carrol. Happy 90th Birthday today to you, Old Cuss. The Ides of March 2019. I guess it's finally official.

Back in his 1960s/70s school teaching years, Mr. T organized sports for us local scoundrels way downcountry. He pitched baseball to both teams while keeping individual stats. He ran us up and down full court basketball when only playing 3-on-3. Outdoor hockey on Cedar Pond. Trundled us all home in the back of his red pickup. Pinochle & bike riding...

Yet, while you've got him, ask about the 100 peaks climbed in his 70s. Solo, mid-winter. Scheesch! And, oh yeah, canoeing the big Maine rivers in spring...

Forever an inspiration. 91st year begun.

All the Best and Most Health and Happiness to You, Old Friend, Canavan

  2. Mr. Thompson was my 7th and 8th Grade teacher in Lee, Maine in 1958 and 1959. Without a doubt, he was the best teacher I ever had. I have been trying to reach him, but the e-mail address I had doesn't work. Is Mr. Thompson still with us and if he is, can I contact him? my e-mail address is carrypond@hotmail.com Thank You Judy Cobb
