Sometimes in this life we receive unexpected gifts. Today as I was scanning postcards from Bruce Nelson's collection, I turned a page and came upon an early postcard photo of my grandfather, Roy Thompson and his father-in-law, Henry Long, standing in a potato field during the fall harvest.

ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your pics brought back many memories. I lived in Caribou and picked potatoes for Robert Thibodeau as a kid my dad worked in Limestone as a Civilian at Loring Air Force. I miss the beauty but not the cold winters. Thanks for sharing fun to see!
